POMELO

POMELO was born on the ESEA Sisters discord when Ayumi (ayumi) posted if anyone wanted to start a DJ collective and Linda (ling linh) + Vanessa (dj stay in bed) jumped at the chance.

They first met in a studio and have been playing b2b2b ever since. They’ve played together at Somerset House Skate Lates and individually played Risen Festival and venues such as Colour Factory, Crate Brewery, Fox and Firkin, Four Quarters and Young Vic Theatre.

Bringing their individual styles to a wide range of genres: from house, rnb, afrobeat, techno, breakbeat, bootlegs and everything in between, POMELO’s sets are always a fun journey with upped energy. They’ve also rode the airwaves of Voices Radio and AAJA.

SEGMENTS with POMELO showcases eclectic picks (including ones from our newest Berlin based member Rowan Allen) in response to questions we pose that month, followed by mixes spanning across all flavours of dance music. Tune in every second Sunday 1-3pm on Brixton Radio!
